The Home Battery Storage System works by storing excess solar energy generated during the daytime in lithium-ion batteries. This stored energy can then be used during the evening or during power outages to provide backup power.

The higher the battery’s capacity, the more solar energy is stored. When a solar battery is installed as part of an on-grid solar panel system, it can store excess solar electricity instead of sending it back to the grid. If solar panels are producing more electricity than is needed, the excess energy goes towards charging the battery.
