Nowadays, rechargeable batteries are becoming increasingly popular in daily life and provide great convenience; however, what are the different types of rechargeable batteries?

The nickel-cadmium battery, also known as "Ni-CD," is an earlier occurrence of a rechargeable lithium battery with a single working voltage of 1.2V, universal No. 7 (AAA type), No. 5 (AA type), No. 1, No. 2, and industrial production-specific type specifications.

It has a lower self-discharge rate than NiMH batteries, a lower internal resistance, and a lower cost; the disadvantage is that it is easy to cause memory effects. Using the most commonly used No. 5 (AA type) rechargeable batteries as an example, the number of single cells can be guaranteed to be 500MAH-850MHA, with a preference for 600-700MAH goods.
